Indicates appropriateness or aptitude; not necessarily made for them.

A job suitable for calm personalities.
Quick contrasts & pitfalls
- として = role/identity “as …”. Similarity “like …” → ように／みたいに.
- に代わって = formal “on behalf of (person/org)”. Items/substances → （の）かわりに.
